| Over the past twenty plus years, Marquette Management has handled fee management assignments for some of the nation’s largest owners of Institutional Real Estate including The Detroit Police Pension Fund, ING, GMAC, Travelers Insurance, Freddie Mac and TIAA CREFF and two major private pension funds. Marquette Management has also been appointed receiver and has successfully handled numerous distressed properties, workouts, broken condominium deals and/or foreclosures. Marquette is represented on the board of the Chicagoland Apartment Association, and the Advisory Board of Ball State University Real Estate Management Curriculum. Additionally, Marquette Management operates a training and development school called MSAM—the Marquette School of Advanced Management. Along with an electronic leaning platform that allows employees 24/7 access to an extensive amount of training material, the school, through its Training and Development Coordinator, offers a number of instructor led courses in technical skills as well as areas such as communication, accountability and community building. Additionally, each new employee goes through an extensive training program under the direction of their immediate supervisor and one Marquette’s approved Trainers/Mentors.
